1. The department carries out humanitarian management with an emphasis on two-way communication. Our highly disciplined team employs a program of enlightenment rather than reproach, encouragement rather than punishment, and clear explanations for the correction of mistakes. In order to inspire dignity and humanity, a high value is placed on two-way communication. Furthermore, when correcting misdeeds, a high value is placed on showing affection and a concerned manner. Assisting in rebuilding the inmates' moral integrity restores self-confidence and establishes a sense of discipline.
2. The Department carries out discipline management and inspires a drive to attain professional knowledge throughout the year. It also arranges curriculum for educational training in order to enrich personal, professional, and practical knowledge, and capability with regard to the law.
3. The Department oversees the formulation of an Emergency Plan to measure and increase personnel's ability in crisis handling. It draws up of a variety of emergency measures for increasing fellow workers alertness and ability to cope with any emergency contingency. It is also responsible for the reinforcement of safety and emergency regrouping at night or during official holidays, etc. Furthermore, it carries out emergency drills on a regular basis.
