The Activities of Tzu Chi's Holiday Free Clinic

        In order to improve the quality of medical care for the prisoners and to integrate social medical resources, Tzu Chi Taichung Medical Association is arranged to open a free clinic every three months.

        There are an ophthalmology department and a dermatology department in the Tzu Chi holiday free clinic. Besides medical services, hygienic consulting, and hygienic education, Tzu Chi also brings the humane spirit into the prison. During the opening hours of the free clinic, there are humane activities in the waiting area such as Essence of the Bodhi Mind, singing and dancing with sign language, theme-based sharing, Daai Dramas in-person experience sharing, watching Daai videos, two-way communication, etc. And words of wisedom are taught to the prisoners between activities, so that they can change themselves under the influences of Daai spirit, giving up evil and returning to good.
